Position Details
Part-Time Associate Dentist
2 Days Per Week
Available Days: Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday

About the Role
As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care while building trusted relationships with patients. You will diagnose and treat oral health conditions, develop customized treatment plans, educate patients on their oral health, and work collaboratively with our hygiene and assisting teams to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses
- Develop and present treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions
- Diagnose and treat dental disease, decay, and oral health conditions
- Perform root canal therapy and other general dentistry procedures as appropriate
- Administer local anesthetics and prescribe medications when necessary
- Interpret radiographs and diagnostic findings
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, oral hygiene, and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and front office team members to provide an exceptional patient experience
- Follow all infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, state, and ADA guidelines
QualificationsRequired
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from a CODA-accredited dental school
- Active Florida Dental License in good standing
- Current CPR Certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical patient care
Preferred
- Experience with Dentrix practice management software
- Experience with digital radiography and modern dental technology
- Strong treatment planning and case presentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in comprehensive general dentistry
